Getting Here
Getting here is easy: you're just 30 minutes from Oxford, 40 minutes from Talladega, and about an hour and a half from both Birmingham and Atlanta. Visitors traveling from Montgomery, Huntsville, or Nashville can expect a scenic drive of two to four hours, making Cheaha an easy weekend destination from across the Southeast.
Once here, choose from 32 mountain view lodge rooms opening mid 2026, historic CCC cabins with full kitchens and fireplaces, 1970s era chalets, or the 12 room Bald Rock Lodge for larger gatherings. Spend your days on 17 miles of trails, including the Pinhoti Trailhead connecting to the Appalachian Trail, or cool off at the six acre spring fed lake with swimming and kayaking.
